The mission of Centro Comunitário do Idoso Luísa de Marillac is to serve and encourage elderly adults to seek quality of life, promoting inclusion, autonomy, independence, and citizenship, while preserving family ties and active longevity.
With the collaboration of partners and volunteers, the Center offers various activities, such as lectures, guitar lessons, craft workshops, and digital inclusion and literacy programs. It also offers Qigong practices, which combine meditation, controlled breathing, and gentle movements.
